I love photographing at Baytowne Wharf! It offers an awesome variety of looks. You can go for pure coastal, urban or even a Savannah type of look in your images. It truly rocks. And, if you add in a super couple like LeeAnne and Richard, you just can’t go wrong! We had a blast. They were so much fun and had a super love language between them. I can’t wait until their wedding in October. LeeAnne will have the best reception ever I think as she works for the catering division of the Emerald Coast Conference Center and that’s where it’s going to be held. After we hit all of the fun Baytowne areas, we went to the beach. Aside from a really freaky dead dolphin floating by, we had the best time. We had scheduled the session for Super Bowl weekend. Oh my gosh, I am so glad we waited until now. It was warmer (please note I did not say warm!!) and the sun was out with a glorious sunset. Ahhh…it was truly a dream engagement session!

Loren and Andy 10.24.09~ Sandestin
October 27, 2009Okay, you may have gathered from the sneak preview that Loren and Andy are a very unique but wonderfully fun couple. We had a great time at Baytowne Wharf doing their pre-wedding portraits and loving the bright colors and beautiful light offered there. Then it was off to the wedding at Finz restaurant. They had the top floor and it looked so elegant. Andy and Loren were married in front of a full window decorated in candles and flowers. Our resident dare-devil pilots were training so the guests had front row seats to a pretty neat air show as well. The whole wedding went smoothly once Loren got her Muligan behind her with a little help from a wedding guest which eased everyone into enjoying the celebration of Loren and Andy’s wedding. Andy even regained his champagne bottle sabering mojo as he hit 2 for 2 with skill and finess during the wedding. The music was provided by Charlie Roberts and his band did a wonderful job keeping everyone on the dance floor. In all it was a great wedding with fun people.

Loren rocked this dress!! She looked awesome!

Finz was amazing!

A play on a burning issue.

SMOOCH!!!!!

Loren and Andy’s Wedding…..just an appetizer of photos for today!
October 26, 2009Here is a sneak peek of Loren and Andy’s Sandestin wedding held on the top floor of Finz. Wow, what they did to prepare for that wedding, the restaurant looked like a million bucks!! It was awesome! I’ll be posting more of the wedding images tomorrow. Anyway, in this set we went to one of my favorite places, Baytowne Wharf. The light and the bride were amazing as you can see. Then in the fact that Annie Leibovitz is my photo idol and I have a wry sense of humor, I did a play on the fact that Andy thinks Loren is a little behind in the electronic age. He is texting her via her “tin can phone”. LOL

Megan and Shaun’s Wedding 10.10.09
October 11, 2009As cute as a bug on a rug…oh yah, never thought I would use that for one of my couples, but here it goes! Megan and Shaun together are just a cute as a bug on a rug!! They laugh together, love together and will enjoy the rest of their lives….together. The wedding was at the very cute First Baptist Church of Niceville. There were some really nice areas to work with before the wedding, and the rather intimate seating in the church made for beautiful ceremony images. We had a blast doing the formals. Thank you to the “enforcers” for some comic relief. Then on to the reception at Louisiana Lagniappe. For those of you who are non-cajuns it is pronounced Lan-yap. The bride’s brother composed a song out of Megan’s and Shaun’s favorite poem and that was their first dance song. It was really touching. The whole wedding day was a mix of fun, festivities and family. Just the way a wedding day should happen. I wish them a lifetime of health and happiness together

Megan and Shaun...always remember to say Olive You to each other

Tara and Chad’s Wedding 8.1.09
August 9, 2009Tara and Chad make such a sweet couple. She’s business oriented but easy going and he’s a bit shy, but full of fun when he gets to know you. They came from Indiana to have their wedding celebration at Sandestin with their reception at the world famous Finz Restaurant.
With the wonderful Florida sunshine guiding their way, they said their vows in front of family and friends on the beach in a beautiful beach ceremony complete with sand ceremony.
The moonlit night was perfect for guests to party in the restaurant or enjoy the cool breeze on the deck as inside the dance floor was packed with people of all ages enjoying the music. Now, here is a slice of their day….enjoy!

The B. Girls
August 8, 2009I love a good sunrise session! The Gulf is calm and the colors are awe striking! Anna and Sarah had on the prettiest sea foam green dresses that made the colors of nature just pop out at you! Their beach portrait session went great and they had plenty of time to play in the Gulf of Mexico by their South Walton condo the rest of the day!!
