Ashley and Chad celebrated their nuptials at the First Baptist Church in downtown Fort Walton Beach. This church is amazing to for photographs. It has wonderful high ceilings and the light flows through it so wonderfully! And to make their wedding  even more intimate and special, Chad’s uncle performed the ceremony. It was a well done beautiful service.

With a wedding party about the size of a pro-football team in number, it offered the opportunity for some really fun zany images. Let’s just say we had a parade, jumped and even licked a foot. Okay, it wasn’t my idea to do that, but sometimes those groomsmen can be awfully impetus and unpredictable! But it was all fun!

After the wedding, the couple had their reception at the Ramada Empire Room on Okaloosa Island. A live band played the Blues Brothers, Elvis and other covers much to the joy of the audience and a photo booth complete with costumes was available to the guests. The topper on the reception was the Crimson Tide table, I’m sure Bear Bryant was looking over this with great approval. The groom’s cake was all roll tide and Ashley and Chad had even had M&M’s made with various sayings like UA, roll tide, 8.15.09 and a cute portrait of themselves.
