I loved photographing Bryt! She was game for anything and seemed like she was having a great time during the whole session! We mixed up some high fashion with some plain old fun! Bryt wanted something that the school appointed senior portrait photographer was unable to do for her. She wanted her personality to shine through, she wanted someone to take the time to create a piece of art that she will look back at in 20 years with fondness…she wanted sass, fun and style! That’s why she came to me. We had fun, got a bit wet and ate laughed a ton! Hope you enjoy her images!

Ashley is so cute and bubbly! She was able to rock each and every outfit and scene change of her senior portrait session. Okay well sessions, Mother Nature didn’t allow us to finish up her session the first day as a huge pop up thunderstorm came along and ruined our outdoor plans. But we came back and got them done with gusto! Enjoy a sample of her images!

Liz came to the Red Dog for her senior portraits last week. She will be a Choctaw graduate and is currently in the ROTC at school. I had a blast and her infectious smile is absolutely wonderful. She seems to have her priorities in line and I think she will do well! In the meantime enjoy Liz’s senior portraits and look for her twin action next week as her sister comes in to see me as well.

Jessica’s mom called me to see if she could be a Senior Model for Mari’s Paradise Images. It only took a little while to get the impression that her daughter not only had spunk, but the right stuff to be a model for the class of 2011! Hey class of 2012, let me give you a hint just in case you want to sign up now to be a senior model for next year….brains+fun!!! Yup, that’s the key!  So the day we had scheduled for Jessica’s session it rained cats and dogs. Instead of canceling the shoot, we did the studio portion. I’m not saying how long we took, but we for sure got carried away just having fun and shooting images. LOL Then on a beautiful morning we finished with the outside portion of the shoot. We crammed quite a bit of stuff into our time outside. Now you get to see everything from Jessica’s photography hobby to bike riding as you get a little peek of her senior portraits! And keep in mind, as a senior model she can give you an awesome rate if you are wanting to get away from that school photogapher look!

Little Logan came to the Red Dog Studio to do a pre-second birthday photo session so that he could make images for his birthday invitations. Oh my gosh, that boy has serious personality! He’s 100% boy! And 100% ham! Once he got warmed up he was all over the place creating fun images. He had the most fun in the bathtub where he could slide down the edge and play hide and seek with me. It was a riot! We ended up the session with some watermelon by the bay. Let me tell you, he needed no coaxing to put on his bathing suit, sit in the water and eat some juicy watermelon!! He was a wonderful model, enjoy his images!

This image just makes me want some watermelon!

The patio of the studio.

Rub-a-dub-dub tons of fun in the tub!

Sarah is such a fun, beautiful and smart girl! When she applied to be a Class of ’11 Senior Model for Mari’s Paradise Images I was thrilled! She brought quite a bit to the table as far as interests and activities for her senior session. In addition to being in drama, she has played soccer, is an honor scholar, works, is a member of a ton of school clubs including the unicycle club (yes, there is such a thing!) and very active in her church. Pretty much the all-around American girl! We had a blast shooting her session and she now has a newfound love for New Orleans style snowballs!! Yummy! Enjoy Sarah’s pictures and remember to pick up a card from her so that you can get a special price for your senior portraits!

Love the feet :)

this just cracks me up!

She has awesome eyes..oh and yah..she surfs!

Oh what a beautiful evening it was last week as the B. Family came to the beach to get their portraits made. It ended up being a mix of engagement and baby portraits with a wonderful sampling of loving little family thrown in the mix! I loved it! And their little girl turned on her charm and gave me nothing but wonderful smiles all session. It was really nice to appreciate the fact that Destin still has oil free pristine white beaches :)

Gotta love a good game of "Kiss Tag!"

Totally my favorite pic!

When Stevie and Keith came to see me about photographing their wedding they had some very definite ideas about their engagement session. Both of them are vintage car enthusiasts and both of them had seen a vintage filling station somewhere on Hwy. 331. That is where they wanted their engagement session. Well, that didn’t exactly make it easy. I had to research where the filling station was and then I called a local photographer to see if he knew the owner. Thank goodness he did! I called the owner who was so excited they had chosen his either father or grandfather’s station for their shoot, that he had it all cleaned up and ready to go for us when we got there! It was even more amazing than I had expected! We shot some totally awesome images there and then went on to explore the rest of downtown Florala. Of course it was hard not to notice the police car that passed by our locations I would say about every five minutes. But then again, the entire town was closed because it was Sunday, so I guess we looked pretty menacing with our photo lights and Florida tags taking over their downtown area. You can’t really blame them for being protective. Anyway, the shoot went great! Stevie and Keith did awesome…now it’s time to enjoy their images!

This is just so sweet!

Another one of my faves!

Really, tell me with a straight face you could resist photographing this image!

Sexy sky!

Checkin' out the bling!

Emily  had some very fun images for her Senior portraits. She decided to use an outdoor theme and once again we got to use the swing!! Oh boy I do love that swing :) Since she is a self proclaimed book worm, I also climbed a tree to photograph her with a backdrop of lush green undergrowth as she read one of her favorite books! We had a blast and worked until dark creating fun and interesting images. Emily was game for anything and looked great doing everything! How awesome is that?!

We still are looking for two males and one female senior rep for Choctaw and Fort Walton Beach High Schools for the 2011 senior class!! For more information please call 850-699-3403!

Yay, I didn't fall out of the tree!!

Love, love, love the shoes!!

Charmane and I worked at the Northwest Florida Daily News together and now both work in the wedding industry. Small world huh? Well, she has two beautiful daughters and one very handsome son with her husband Jerome. They came to the Red Dog last week to do some fun images of their daughters. I love them and had so much fun at their shoot. Photographing children at their age is awesome!

Aren't they cute?!

I love my jasmine arch!
