Ashley is so cute and bubbly! She was able to rock each and every outfit and scene change of her senior portrait session. Okay well sessions, Mother Nature didn’t allow us to finish up her session the first day as a huge pop up thunderstorm came along and ruined our outdoor plans. But we came back and got them done with gusto! Enjoy a sample of her images!

July 13, 2010Choctaw Class of ’11 Senior Model Tra ~Flipping Out~
July 12, 2010Hey guys, thanks for checking out my blog! Here is our last Choctawhatchee High School Senior Model, Tra. He’s got charisma, charm and some mad athletic skills! Not only is he a football player (check out the stats…he helped crush arch rival Fort Walton Beach High School last year with a touch down) but he’s also a cheerleader! And did I mention his very infectious smile? He knows how to quietly work the camera and looks great! Remember, to grab a card from him for an ultra cool deal on your senior portrait session!!
Liz ~ Class of ’11 Senior Portraits ~
July 10, 2010Liz came to the Red Dog for her senior portraits last week. She will be a Choctaw graduate and is currently in the ROTC at school. I had a blast and her infectious smile is absolutely wonderful. She seems to have her priorities in line and I think she will do well! In the meantime enjoy Liz’s senior portraits and look for her twin action next week as her sister comes in to see me as well.
Little Logan ~Kid’s Portraits at the Red Dog Studio~
July 5, 2010Little Logan came to the Red Dog Studio to do a pre-second birthday photo session so that he could make images for his birthday invitations. Oh my gosh, that boy has serious personality! He’s 100% boy! And 100% ham! Once he got warmed up he was all over the place creating fun images. He had the most fun in the bathtub where he could slide down the edge and play hide and seek with me. It was a riot! We ended up the session with some watermelon by the bay. Let me tell you, he needed no coaxing to put on his bathing suit, sit in the water and eat some juicy watermelon!! He was a wonderful model, enjoy his images!
Baby Alya ~ Precious Newborn Pictures ~
June 25, 2010Wooo Hooo! I am now two for two in the last week of newborns smiling for me! I am doing the I feels so special dance right now as I blog! Okay, so perhaps the reasoning is that they are just really special babies with such loving personalities that they are advanced for their ages in the smiling department. But I still say it’s the magic of the Red Dog Studio! LOL Little Baby Alya had some amazing eyes and just was checking out all of her surroundings. She was wonderfully behaved and her parents were so adorable. They took turns with her and in a family shot as mom was kissing little Alya’s toes, dad just simply turned and kissed mom on the cheek so gentle and lovingly it was awesome! Now that’s what love is about. I hope you enjoy looking at Alya’s images as much as I enjoyed photographing them!
Choctaw Senior Model Sarah ~Senior Portraits ~
June 13, 2010Sarah is such a fun, beautiful and smart girl! When she applied to be a Class of ’11 Senior Model for Mari’s Paradise Images I was thrilled! She brought quite a bit to the table as far as interests and activities for her senior session. In addition to being in drama, she has played soccer, is an honor scholar, works, is a member of a ton of school clubs including the unicycle club (yes, there is such a thing!) and very active in her church. Pretty much the all-around American girl! We had a blast shooting her session and she now has a newfound love for New Orleans style snowballs!! Yummy! Enjoy Sarah’s pictures and remember to pick up a card from her so that you can get a special price for your senior portraits!
Emily’s Senior Portraits ~ Choctaw High School
May 20, 2010Emily had some very fun images for her Senior portraits. She decided to use an outdoor theme and once again we got to use the swing!! Oh boy I do love that swing
Since she is a self proclaimed book worm, I also climbed a tree to photograph her with a backdrop of lush green undergrowth as she read one of her favorite books! We had a blast and worked until dark creating fun and interesting images. Emily was game for anything and looked great doing everything! How awesome is that?!
We still are looking for two males and one female senior rep for Choctaw and Fort Walton Beach High Schools for the 2011 senior class!! For more information please call 850-699-3403!
Crystal’s Maternity Shoot~ Red Dog Studio
May 4, 2010Crystal and her hubby Shelby came to the Red Dog Studio recently to do her maternity shoot. They are so cute together, it was wonderful to watch Shelby with her as they go through the last couple of months before little baby Julia arrives. He was so attentive and excited about the birth of their first child. It just gave me happy goose bumps! Okay, now that Shelby has almost been guaranteed to lose rights to his man card by his friends after that comment, I’ll have to add in something really burley and masculine to redeem his status. How about he was an awesome sport and moved a huge heavy picnic table for me so we could do some shots in the park? I hope that helps Shelby!! LOL
Anyway the two of them were so much fun and really enjoyed being together and were both excited for their new arrival. I can’t wait to photograph Miss Julia when she makes her appearance this summer!
A New Arrival~ Newborn Portraits of Baby Pierce
April 22, 2010You may remember Baby Pierce from our blog about a week ago. Oh, okay you really didn’t meet him. He was this really big hump in his mother’s belly! His mother was the very beautiful maternity portrait client Lexi who gave birth the very next day! Wow, I wish I had looked that good on my due date!! But really….I so didn’t and that’s a whole ‘nother story all together..LOL
Anyway Lexi came back to the Red Dog Studio and brought her whole cute little family. All I have to say is little girls watch out!! With two simply gorgeous parents, in about 14 years Pierce is going to be piercing some little girl hearts! So enjoy the love, wonderment and joy of Lexi, Ryan and their wonderful new baby Pierce.
Lexi’s Maternity Shoot ~ Red Dog Studio
April 14, 2010Lexi’s friend wanted to get her a very special baby shower gift, one that she would appreciate and love long after baby Pierce had made his way into the world and even after he grew up. So, she called me. Since this was Lexi’s first baby she wanted her to have some gorgeous maternity photos. There was only one problem. Lexi was at full term and being induced in less than 48 hours. We had to work fast!
Lexi loves the glamorous look. She wanted to do strings of pearls for her maternity session. Thanks to Maggie at Barefoot Weddings I had a ton of them on hand in no time! Enjoy the images and look for little Pierce in a future blog. He was born about 24 hours after the shoot!!
