Oh my gosh,  when New Orleans Times-Picayune photographer Scott Threlkeld called me to ask if I would be a subject for a story on businesses along the Gulf Coast adversely affected by the oil spill I was so nervous! I am always the person BEHIND the camera, not in front. He drove over from New Orleans last week to video and photograph me as I did a beach session. I was excited in the fact that folks indeed could see in person that there really is no reason for them not to come down and enjoy our beaches. Our sand is as white as ever and the water oh so inviting! I toyed for a moment on wearing my F BP shirt (that would be Florida against BP, don’t get any ideas), but then thought maybe not! My clients for the evening, the A. Family have come to me for several years and they were excited to be profiled in the story. It was also fun to see in a video how I shot the images and then the images themselves. Thankfully the majority of video is of their family and NOT me!! LOL Thank you Scott!!! We had a great time and made some fun images. I hope folks will see that we are still open for business and will come down for a great fall vacation!
