Sometimes we are blessed to have clients who are almost like family. I’m not sure how long Regina has been bringing her children and their families to see me, but I would venture it’s been about five years. It’s been a blast to see the older grandkids get bigger, the little babies become young children and even a couple of new additions down the road. And next year there will be a new little boy to add to the mix as Jen and Collin are expecting!!! I’m so excited
Add in Holly and her clan along with Randy and Regina, it’s a whole lot of fun!! I look forward to next year!

Wedding Photojournalists Association Quarterly Contest
July 26, 2009Here we go again. Gosh, everything falls on the same dates I swear!!
In case you didn’t know, I have been selected as one of a very small handful of photographers in the Florida Panhandle to be honored with membership to the Wedding Photojournalists Association. There are only five photographers in the entire Panhandle of Florida and southern areas of Alabama and Georgia who have been chosen to become members of this elite organization.
Here is a blurb from the WPJA to brides and grooms that describe their membership:
WOULD YOU TRUST FOREVER TO JUST ANYONE?The WPJA puts the world’s best wedding photography at your fingertips. We offer a new perspective on wedding photography – quietly capturing the real moments as they happen for the bride and groom. It is our goal to use photography to tell the story of your wedding day, not dictate it for you. IMPORTANT NOTE: Membership in the WPJA depends entirely on photographers meeting our high standards for inclusion. OneCANNOT simply pay his/her way into the WPJA. We emphasize this is NOT another ad-driven wedding web site. Anyway, it is time for the second quarterly contest. Our catagories are: 1)Getting Ready 2)Ceremony 3)Reception 4)Kids being kids 5)Ring Details 6)Emotion 7)Emotion 8)Cake Cutting 9)Transportation 10)Creative Portrait 11)Trash the dress Portrait No Photoshop special effects may be used, no textures or filters. The images except for the rings and the creative portraits must be just as we found them. Below you’ll find my entries … Post comments below to let me know what you think!! |

The B. Family and Fellow Perrysburg High Alumnus
July 24, 2009Wow, I didn’t know that in a small piece of paradise 915 miles away from the place I once called home, I would have the chance to photograph the precious family of one of my fellow PHS alumnus!
Dave’s family is so cute. He and his beautiful wife just celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary. Way to go guys!!! And let me add, their children are gorgeous and fun!!
Enjoy their images ![]()

A little bird told me that they just celebrated 17 years of marriage last week. Congratulations!!

Sabrina and Mavi’s Beautiful Panama City Beach Wedding
July 22, 2009Sabrina and Mavi took their vows on the Beach in Panama City Beach and then dined and danced with family and friends at the Bay Point Marriot. It was a beautiful wedding, they wrote their own vows and celebrated the sweetness of love with candy favors for all.
I think they have a great start and a lifetime future together. If you take each one aside and ask them about the other, they’ll just blush and smile saying all the most wonderful things about each other. It was so cute to see!! And Mavi was always the first to lend a loving hand to his beautiful wife and fix her dress when needed. A true gentleman!

Here is one of Mavi's GQ type of shots as a surprise for Sabrina!

The M. Family Grayton Beach
July 22, 2009The M. family came to visit me at Grayton Beach this week and we had the pleasure of having some of the most stellar clouds over us just catching the colors of the sunset. It was simply beautiful! Yet another reason why South Walton or otherwise known as So-Wal is still some of God’s country
Enjoy!

My new inspiration to go to the gym. She’s an aerobics instructor and has simply the perfect body!! Oh….time to go work out now!!
Calling all 2010 Grads!!!

Andrew’s Big 30th!!!!
July 11, 2009What do you get when you bring in people from Atlanta and Louisiana for a week and end the vacation with a fantastic dinner on the beach? Andrew’s 30th birthday of course!! Andrew decided to bring in friends and family to spend the week with him as he celebrated his birthday in Destin this week. Leslye Brewer of Lesgo Personal Chef’s make the magic on the beach happen!! Two grand tables under the beautiful setting sun with fun lights created the setting for a steak and shrimp dinner with an ending of delightful bread pudding!

The street in Spring, Texas
July 11, 2009Wow!! I have added another geographical location to my clients. In addition to a hospital in Montgomery, AL as well as the State Attorney General’s office in Alabama, a church congregation in central Kentucky, a street in Mandeville, LA and a good portion of Baton Rouge, I have added Jackie’s street in Spring, Texas. How cool is that?
Jackie and her husband came to visit me in Grayton Beach with their two sons and families. It was so much fun!! And I don’t know what they do at home to get their children to listen, but it really works!! They were dolls!!
We had a great time and I think Jackie and her family have some wonderful lifetime beach memories.
Enjoy and “Say Beer!!”
