Atlanta Wedding Photography- Lake Lanier Islands

Lake Lanier Islands WeddingWhat a great wedding!! Atlanta is a fun place and we love doing Atlanta Wedding Photography. Sarah and Jason were originally going to get married in Destin, Fl but changed their venue to Lake Lanier Islands Weddings. What an awesome change! Both the wedding venue staff and the wedding planner Rebecca Dey of Rebecca Niccole Weddings really went above and beyond with talent and professionalism. I cannot stress how much professional venue staff and a great planner make a wedding a breeze for all vendors and the couple. It’s a win win situation for all!

Most weddings in the greater Atlanta area offer a wonderful topography. I do love the white sands and beautiful waters of The Emerald Coast and 30A coastlines, the allure of crisp mountain air, old growth forests and foothills of the Appalachian mountains. There were so many areas to photograph, it was hard to choose. atlanta wedding photography_0002atlanta wedding photography_0003atlanta wedding photography_0004atlanta wedding photography_0005atlanta wedding photography_0006atlanta wedding photography_0007atlanta wedding photography_0008atlanta wedding photography_0009atlanta wedding photography_0010atlanta wedding photography_0011atlanta wedding photography_0012atlanta wedding photography_0013atlanta wedding photography_0014atlanta wedding photography_0015atlanta wedding photography_0016atlanta wedding photography_0017atlanta wedding photography_0018atlanta wedding photography_0019atlanta wedding photography_0020atlanta wedding photography_0021atlanta wedding photography_0022atlanta wedding photography_0023atlanta wedding photography_0024atlanta wedding photography_0025atlanta wedding photography_0026atlanta wedding photography_0027atlanta wedding photography_0028atlanta wedding photography_0029atlanta wedding photography_0030atlanta wedding photography_0031atlanta wedding photography_0032atlanta wedding photography_0033atlanta wedding photography_0034atlanta wedding photography_0035atlanta wedding photography_0036atlanta wedding photography_0037atlanta wedding photography_0038atlanta wedding photography_0039atlanta wedding photography_0040atlanta wedding photography_0041atlanta wedding photography_0042atlanta wedding photography_0043atlanta wedding photography_0044atlanta wedding photography_0045atlanta wedding photography_0046atlanta wedding photography_0047atlanta wedding photography_0048atlanta wedding photography_0049atlanta wedding photography_0050atlanta wedding photography_0051atlanta wedding photography_0052atlanta wedding photography_0053atlanta wedding photography_0054atlanta wedding photography_0055atlanta wedding photography_0057atlanta wedding photography_0058atlanta wedding photography_0059atlanta wedding photography_0060atlanta wedding photography_0061atlanta wedding photography_0062atlanta wedding photography_0063atlanta wedding photography_0064atlanta wedding photography_0065atlanta wedding photography_0066

Destin Beach Portrait

Destin Beach Portrait_0001

It cracks me up when our outages of a Destin beach portrait is so funny! Boys make the most humorous images! You cannot imagine what they may say. LOL I simply told the boys to kiss their mom. Let me tell you…they did the best they could and made their Destin Beach Portrait the most crazy thing they could do! In this case, I asked the boys to kiss and hug mom on the count of three.

So you ask where to stay while in Destin or Fort Walton Beach…Let me tell you it’s either airbndb or VRBO in the area. It doesn’t matter if you stay in Destin, Fl, Okaloosa Island, Crystal Beach, 30A or anywhere else on The Emerald Coast in general. Take the time to surf or Stand Up Paddle while in the area. We were paddling recently on the tidal lakes and found ourselves surrounded by otters as we tooled along.

The tidal lakes of South Walton are some amazing places to stand up paddle. We have what they call Barnacles, which are small blue-tooth speakers that attach to your board. We also had a beaver stalk us while playing the music from the speakers. It was crazy to be paddling in the lilly pads of Watercolor when the otters decided to check us out! Evidently the otters and beavers love the Ka’au Crater Boys songs. Makaha is one of my favorite songs by them!

Give me a ring or an email if you would like the most awesome beach images of your life! My office number is 850-699-3403 and my email is  Contact me now for beach sessions this year since we are completley almost booked up.

Panama City Beach Photography

Beach Portrait

The beaches of 30A are perfect for Panama City Beach Photography. And I love beach portrait families that are fun like the “A” family. Whether it be the sweet kisses of siblings or allowing the adults to live a kid moment and laugh, I love having fun with my clients.

It is so cool to know that the images I create, and the moments they share will concrete cherished Emerald Coast memories for the children I photograph. They will remember the wonderful green waters and the white sand along with the laughter and joy they shared with their parents and family and come back to share it with their own children.

The 30A corridor of South Walton County offers an eclectic beach style lifestyle. You can prepare for your visit here through 30A Radio. It’s one of my favorite radio stations available on the internet.  You can have a great beach mix to listen to as well as hearing the lineup of awesome musical artists including locals like the Forrest Williams Band, Reed Waddle and the Dread Clampitt’s. All of which are often playing the entertainment scenes at Seaside, Santa Rosa Beach, Panama City Beach, Rosemary Beach, Grayton Beach or any of the other little communities along 30A. Check out the radio station to get to know some of the great places you can visit, the festivals in the area and even get to know some local artists.Panama City Beach PhotographyReal EmotionsPanama City Beach PhotographyChild Beach Photography

Destin Family Beach Photography: Don’t you want this to be you this Summer?

When we do our Destin Family Beach Photography, we maintain a relationship with our clients.Watching our client’s children grow up through the years and become their own people is really an honor to witness. The last time I saw Wendy and her children, the youngest was a mere 2 years old. He is now so much fun and has a spark of impishness that is a ton of fun!

Our Florida State Parks have so much to offer when it comes to our beach portraits. They maintain their beaches and often times there are many less people lingering during our golden hour at the parks. This allows us to make intimate and special images for our couples and families. I have discovered that once a child sees an image, it then becomes a memory. For instance, when I have my families play Ring Around the Rosie on the beach, it no longer is something their photographer has asked them to do. When the big wall print is hanging in their home for years, it becomes a fond family memory of what they did during their vacation in Destin, Fl.

I am always on the lookout for real actual moments. For instance when the young girl caught a sand flea, that was some pretty big stuff. You see they are actually kind of hard to catch without the proper equipment. So her acquisition of the crustacean was a pretty big deal.

Atlanta Wedding Photography Lake Lanier Islands

Atlanta Wedding Photography_0001

I certainly did not anticipate that Sarah and Jason’s wedding would be considered an Atlanta Wedding Photography wedding at Lake Lanier Islands when they booked. But when their Destin, Fl wedding venue experienced some legal problems, I offered them the ability to have my services without losing their retainer at their new venue in Atlanta.

Boy was I surprised at how beautiful Lake Lanier Islands Resort was! And let me tell you about their staff! I know this is a sneak peek and I should not mush and gush about how great everything was, but these folks were first rate! The Lake Lanier Weddings staff not only knew what they were doing, but made everything seamless. The wedding videographer was amazing to work with. Ryan travels to locations all over the southeast and he is by far the most professional I have ever worked with. He follows and has been mentored by Ray Roman who I love as a video artist. Their styles are much the same.

Lake Lanier Island’s wedding coordinator Chipo was a calm force during the wedding. Wedding planner Rebecca from Rebecca Nichole Weddings kept things right in line and right on time. She was SOOOO easy to work with!

I can’t wait to post a full post on this wedding. It was amazing!

Congratulations Sarah and Jason!
